Intended use
RadShieldUSA is a professional decision-support tool for radiation shielding design, analysis, survey, documentation, and approval workflows.
It must not autonomously certify a facility or replace review by a qualified medical physicist, certified health physicist, licensed medical physicist, radiation safety officer, architect, engineer, or applicable regulatory authority.
Credentials vs standards
ABR and ABHP certifications are professional credentials, not standalone calculation standards. The product must not be represented as “ABR compliant” or “ABHP compliant.”
PHI warning
Do not enter patient names, medical record numbers, dates of birth, or other protected health information. Prefer aggregate procedure and source information.
Data licensing
NCRP reports and similar publications may contain copyrighted tables. RadShieldUSA implements equation frameworks and schemas; licensed coefficients must be imported by an authorized administrator with documented rights.
